Key Integration Features

NDI Source Integration — Instant Camera Detection Over the Network

vMix automatically detects NDI sources on the local network, and Telycam PTZ cameras with NDI®HX output appear as live inputs inside vMix instantly — no capture card, no additional cables. Each Telycam NDI camera shows up as an independent source, ready to be switched, composited, and streamed. For multi-camera productions, multiple Telycam NDI cameras can all run simultaneously inside a single vMix production with no signal degradation.

USB & HDMI Input — Plug In and Produce

Telycam USB conference cameras connect to vMix directly via USB as standard UVC devices — no drivers, no configuration. For PTZ cameras with HDMI output, a compatible capture card brings the feed into vMix at full quality. vMix supports a wide range of capture cards for HDMI and SDI input, making it straightforward to integrate Telycam cameras into any existing production setup regardless of the connection type.

Built-In PTZ Camera Control via VISCA over IP

vMix 4K and Pro include a built-in PTZ control panel that supports camera control via VISCA over IP — the same protocol Telycam PTZ cameras support natively. This means operators can pan, tilt, zoom, and recall position presets directly within the vMix interface, without switching to a separate control application. Camera operation and live production switching stay in one place, manageable by a single operator from the production desk.

Virtual Camera Presets — One Camera, Unlimited Angles

vMix’s Virtual PTZ feature turns any camera input into multiple virtual sources, each with its own saved pan, tilt, and zoom position. Combined with Telycam’s optical zoom and smooth PTZ movement, a single physical camera can function as several distinct “virtual cameras” — a wide shot, a close-up, a side angle — all switchable in real time within vMix without any physical camera movement. It’s a cost-effective way to add production variety to any setup.

Multi-Platform Streaming and ISO Recording

vMix supports simultaneous streaming to multiple platforms — YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo, and any custom RTMP or SRT destination — all from a single production. At the same time, vMix 4K and Pro support ISO recording, capturing each camera source as a separate, clean file for post-production editing. Telycam cameras deliver the stable, high-quality video feeds that make both multi-platform delivery and ISO recording worthwhile — every source clean, every stream solid.

Instant Replay for Live Sports and Events

vMix includes a built-in Instant Replay feature supporting up to 8 cameras, allowing operators to capture and replay key moments in slow motion without interrupting the live stream. Telycam’s long-zoom PTZ cameras — with smooth, precise movement and 4K resolution — are well suited for sports and event coverage where capturing the right angle at the right moment matters.
